Apache Cheese Bread       Tom & Kari
1 9-inch Apache loaf of bread, or any hard, round loaf
16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 8-ounce carton sour cream
1/2 cup minced scallions
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 4 & 1/2 ounce cans chopped green chiles
1 cup finely chopped ham
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the top off the bread, reserving the top, and scoop out the inside.
Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well. This will be a very stiff
mixture.
Fill the bread shell with the cheese mixture, replace the top, and place on
a cookie sheet.
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Serve as a dip with tortillas or torn pieces of bread.
