Kari's Swedish Cream Aka: Bailey's Irish CreamTom & Kari|
I pour this into decorative glass bottles and give as holiday gifts!
1 cup whiskey
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 pint half & half
4 ounces milk
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
Stir together whiskey and coffee granules until coffee is dissolved. Since
this may take a moment or two, you may partake in a shot of whiskey at
this time. It will definitely make the stirring go much more quickly and be
much more enjoyable.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. I find it easier to mix all
remaining ingredients, except the chocolate syrup. Then I pour about a cup
of this mixture into a tall glass, then add the chocolate syrup to the glass and
stir well. Otherwise the chocolate syrup just seems to sit on the bottom.
Then return this mixture to the rest of the recipe. Keep refrigerated.
Shake well before serving.
Makes approximately 42 ounces. Keeps fresh until expiration date on half &
half or milk, whichever is soonest.
