Snicker Doodle Cookies Laurie & Steve
1 & 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter or margarine (crispier with butter, softer with
2 & 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Cinnamon and sugar mixture for topping
Cream butter or margarine and sugar. Mix in eggs. Sift dry ingredients, add
to wet, and beat until smooth. Cover and chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Make a small ball, approximately 1-inch, and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 325-degree oven for 11-14 minutes.
