Creamy Skillet Chicken Den & Donna

This is a quick meal on a busy weeknight.

4 boneless chicken breasts (halves)
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup green onion slices
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces sour cream

Combine flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, pepper and cayenne pepper in a plastic bag. Drop in chicken, seal and shake to coat.

Melt butter in skillet. Saute chicken breasts on each side, for a total of 5 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet. Add sour cream and soup, stir to mix well. Return chicken to skillet, reduce to simmer and cover. Simmer for an additional 15 minutes. The sauce will thin out a bit.

Serve over rice or pasta.
