Best Chocolate Glaze Laurie & Steve

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
4 tablespoons butter
3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Boiling water

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla until crumbly. Blend in 3 tablespoons boiling water. Add enough water to form medium glaze of pouring consistency. Pour quickly over top of torte.
